Key Locations:
Castle Elmore - As the first construction in Elmore, this fortress like expanse is the stronghold for Balthazar and his guards, and is the city’s namesake. With its strategic central location the castle is an ideal point for the town’s defenses to protect the rest of the budding city. Those looking to speak with the settlement’s leader would be wise to check here first, but gaining entrance into this stronghold proves difficult for those without virtue or the cunning to fake it. There is only one heavily guarded door into the structure on the north side of the stone building. Each side has a large lookout tower where archers are stationed to shoot down any areal(sp?) threats to the city.
Temple Visvaldis - Second only to Balthazar’s castle in size and significance, Visvaldis is the worshiping and training grounds to the various upholders of justice who have been allowed to live within the city’s walls. Although the main hall is devoted to the Lunarian demi-gods of Balthazar’s homeworld, he welcomes any deities of virtue and honor to be worshiped within the temple. Many side chambers have already been dedicated to various religions and more chapels are in various stages of development as the town grows. There’s a sizable courtyard in the back with a well-maintained garden for nature worshipers and those that just enjoy being outdoors.
Other Locations:
The Great Wall - The entirety of the city is neatly contained within a tall stone wall that serves mainly to keep out large beasts and weak vagrants. Sir Silverburg hadn’t expected so many warriors with the ability to fly when he first began construction. This is where those who can’t manage to get inside the city can loiter about without too much trouble from the guards camped outside the gate.
