Primary Armor:
Armored Flesh MX-K19c - This body modification consists of two biotech glands installed into the back of the subject's neck, just under the back of the skull. After the operation the subject can control these glands by means of two implants in the subject's brain. When needed this armor will expand from the back of the subject's neck, over the top of the head, down the arms, across the chest, around the waist, down the back and then down to the legs and over the feet, completely covering every portion of the subject's body. The material that expands is made of a material known as liquid Cie. The implants can be removed at any time from the wearers neck, however once removed they can only be put back in through another operation. Also, it does not slow the wearer's body down, it actually bonds into the flesh, making itself an actual part of the subject. This is a modified version of the K19 series Armored Flesh. It was specifically modified for Drake Raven by Krauser Killener so that he could wear by reacting to the electrical impulses that controls the body and moving with the body rather than the body moving the armor effectivitly making it one armor class lower than what it is without sacrificing the defenses. Primary Weapon:
Rerek's Blade - This sword was originally a blade given to Drake by the dragon that helped raise him early in his life. Ultimately the original sword was just a very well crafted blade made from blackened Cie metal that was a good size and weight for Drake. It acted as a constant reminder to Drake of his responsibility to others around him and to only use it and his abilities in the defense of others. During his travels Drake accumulated several other blades and an amulet of amazing craftsmanship and abilities. With these in hand, the Scientist Krauser Killener bonded them into the sword known today as Rerek's Blade. Now, the entire sword is 54 inches in length with a 34 inch blade which curves slightly backwards the last six inches. The hilt of the blade is wrapped tightly in dragon leather. The hand guard is a dragon’s head with the blade coming out of its open mouth. The sword is perfectly balanced behind the hand guard allowing for easy one handed use but the extra long hilt provides the counter balance as well as allowing the user to shift into two handed weapon fighting. The cutting edge of the blade and the basic frame work is made up of the same blackened Cie from the original sword, but it frames a large mass of ruby that provides the sword with a little extra weight and gives the sword it’s magical properties.

Krauser installed a small power cell into the hilt sword. This power cell is able to absorb any force from drake equal to his force attack damage for that round including any bonuses from racial, class, or ally abilities. This can only happen 1 time per 33 levels per battle, but all energy must be used before the next absorption. This power cell will add force damage to each physical attack up to 10 successful attacks (10% of the powercell's power per hit in force damage) unless Drake uses the energy in another way and the energy is able to apply a burn effect. The last ability comes in two parts, both of which can be activated without physically using the sword. The sword makes a barrier around the caster like a second skin, protecting the caster from extreme heat and cold environments. This lasts until the ability is dismissed. The barrier can also, if activated with a small ritual, act as a shield against all fire and ice element attacks. This shield lasts 2 rounds and can be used 2 times a day. Accessories:
Chaos Shard - Many thousand years ago a meteor crashed into Solaris, quite a normal event of any body that is traveling through space long enough. This meteor was unique because when the crash site was explored and several shards of what was a deep red crystal were found. Anyone that touched these shards found themselves capable of using Chaos Energy but not always able to control it. As with anything though with time and effort the energy was able to be mastered to a point where the shard was no longer needed. These gems became prized and coveted treasures throughout the ages and this shard is one of these original gems. The shard is very smooth, and is red and black in color.

Draconian Amulet - This ancient and mysterious amulet is made of a very strong alloy and is embedded with tiny jewels. This amulet is indestructible and any type of fire attack will be absorbed into the amulet causing no harm to the wearer or any of the surroundings. There may be more than one of these strange amulets because on the backside of it there is the symbol of the Elder Lab.
Gadgets:
AID – Short for Armor Integration Device, this device was concocted and created by Drake in the lab and is a small disc roughly three inches in diameter. The outer edge is a thin rim of blackened cie that protrudes roughly a half an inch while the center, made of liquid cie in its solid state, is flat. Much like his armor, this item had to be implanted into the body so Drake chose the center of his chest to be the home of this item. Connected it through his somatic nervous system to the same glands that were implanted into his brain for his armor, this allows him to control, activate, and deactivate this item with only a thought. The center of the disc, when activated, will allow items to be absorbed, passing along their properties and some aesthetic properties to his armor. Drake's armor can only absorb three items at any given time, but only items that are his or were willingly given to him by an ally. In its current state and strength, the limitation on what can be absorbed is only small accessories as other items will overload the device and armor which will potentially be harmful to Drake.
Prototype Infoview 7000DR - This device is an upgrade from the Infoview 6000 that Drake built for himself with a couple special features. This device takes the form of a mixture between ear over headphones and sporty sunglasses allowing for a head up display to be utilized. It has all of the previous features of the model 6000 but now tells energy levels up to level 90, has a holographic projector/recorder that can produce and record life like images, and has a small host of air monitoring, scanning, and experimental devices. One benefit of the HUD, interacting with the Solarian Orbital Array, is it is harder to confuse Drake with who his target is. Any abilities that use copies or decoys of any type have a 50% failure chance. Drake must make a roll and if the number is even then Drake knows which one is real. Another ability of this item is that Drake secured a wireless connection, of course with Krauser's premission, with the Solaris Central Labs. This item will act as a computer that allows Drake to access and log information. All and all an extremely helpful tool for a scientist.
Runes:
Silver Rune – This rune gives its wielder the passive ability to gain an extra 20% to the amount of credits earned when completing a quest. This bonus does not stack with other runes.
Level 5 Ability:
Raven's Knowledge - Physical traits, intelligence, abilities, and almost everything is determined by the mixing of the genes. Whether determined directly from the two parents or the mixing of the genes before them. Drake’s heritage is that of two powerful and talented Keepers, that each came from a long line of Solarian families. Therefore Drake’s connect and control with energies is natural and he receives a 0.1 increase to his energy potency. Because this is natural ability, any other bonuses to energy potency will stack with this bonus. (Preset Ability)
Level 15 Ability:
Energy Vulnerability - Drake is an average swordsman, even though he does very little damage when he hits, and a below average elementalist. Therefore Drake’s force attacks need to hit for more if and when they hit. When his energy attacks make contact with an opponent, the energies temporarily break down the defenses protecting them from such attacks, they receive a 10% reduction to their energy defense. This ability can only work when the vitality of the opponent is less than Drake's. (Passive Ability)
Level 25 Ability:
Path of Honor - Drake has been around for quite a while and has seen many fights. Drake being a different kind of caster has used a sword in most of his battles during the years, but anyone knows that a warrior that gets close to a Keeper or Elementalist knows that typically it is bad news for the caster. Drake knows this too well and wanted a little control of his stronger opponent, especially those wielding powerful weapon. This ability is activated with a snap his fingers at any point during the battle. After the snap of his fingers his energy propels out in roughly a 100 feet radius. This spell attacks the weapon of the user and is the only thing subject to the curse. Stealth or invisible targets are affected if they are in the area washed over by the energy. At this point Drake takes 10% this total health in damage. The strength of this curse comes at a high cost.

This curse is a very powerful one as it will hinder someone from using their weapons. Firstly, the curse disables all enchantments and abilities on weapons leaving only the percentage bonus to attack. This ability does not affect natural weapons due to the way the spell targets the weapons. Weapons already in hand or attached to the body through others means must be given 3 rounds to remove or sheath them. The user will feel something wrong with the weapons as the curse takes hold. Drake will usually warn his opponent because he believes in fighting fair. There is three ways to remove the curse. Firstly, the ability will wear off after an hour or two returning the weapon to normal. The second way is for Drake to draw his sword. This will remove all aspects of the curse and abilities and enchantments will be able to be used. The third way can only partially remove the curse. The opponent must draw the weapon and willingly take the damage from the curse. It will cause damage equal to the attack of the weapon at two different instances. If the opponent had multiple weapons, they must do this for every weapon that was affected. There is no defense for this kind of damage as the person is willingly taking the damage in order to get some use from their weapon (This value is found under the vital page of the character under whichever weapon they drew). The weapon will be usable without further damage but enchantments (excluding Family Curse and Indestructible) will be unable to be used until curse is fully lifted by one of the other two ways. (Action Ability)
Level 35 Ability:
Chaos Blade - Drake's particular fighting style is very odd for an Energist. Well after the acquisition of the Chaos Shard, he has neglected his sword and was beginning to look like a true keeper until one night of training, during the siege of the planet Solaris, his abilities with his sword and his energy combined. To use this ability all Drake has to do is charge his energy into his blade. This can only be done once and energy cannot be added to the sword afterwards unless absorbed. This energy reacts to the sword in very potent and unimagined ways bringing Drake's mixed battle style into a balanced potent combo. As the properties of the energy are imbued into the sword and the properties of the sword are imbued into the energy as the red crystal has the Chaos energy swimming in it.

The sword contains a power cell and when he adds this energy, the energy left in the power cell is transformed by the chaos energies adding to the total that Drake charges into his sword. His sword is imbued with the properties of the Chaos energies, meaning that whatever he has energy imbued into it; it can absorb an elemental or energy attack under the amount of energy that is in the sword. This absorbed amount is added to the total amount of energy that is in the blade and is the only way Drake can add to it. This will only occur a number of times equal to Drake’s level divided by 20 because the energy must stabilize. Drake cannot make an energy attack of his own and direct it at the blade. Only attacks or redirected attacks from an opponent can be absorbed.

Drake can use his energy that is charged into the sword in order to make crescent wave energy attacks at 10% of the charged energy + the attack of the weapon by willing the energy out during a swing. (Example: (10% of 1,380) 138+ 46 (Primary Weapon Value) = 204 clicks Chaos Energy attack). This does not count for his energy attacks during any given round because he spent other rounds charging his sword to prepare for this ability. (Reaction Ability)
Level 45 Ability:
Chaotic Seal - This ability is defensive in nature allowing Drake more time to prep his abilities or to just get some distance between him and his opponent. Drake can use this ability four times in a battle.. This ability allows Drake to create a web of chaotic energy that expands until it gets to its target. Due to the expanding nature of this ability, the target of this ability must roll 10 higher than normal in order to avoid this. When captured, this net provides 3 rounds of binding the target to where they were entrapped. While within the web, the target is immune to all damage from anyone until the round after the web is removed, but is unable to send any attacks outside of the web. Immunity to outside damage does not apply to damage over time effects or any damage coming from within the web in the case if two opponents are webbed together or anything of that nature.

There are three ways to get rid of this web. First the target must just wait out the three rounds and the energy will dissipate on it's own accord. Second way is for the target and/or his allies to do damage equal to four times Drake’s base energy damage. This will cause the web to prematurely dissipate. The third was is the easiest but most costly. Teleporting, phasing, and abilities of that nature can be used to escape but not without consequence. If escaped by this manner, the target will take 100%, 66%, 33% of the base damage depending on which turn they escape from an explosion that will occur where they reform. The energy actually adheres to the body upon capture and the strains of travel on the energy's bonds which create the net are broken upon reformation resulting in the explosion. (Action Ability)
Drake's past...
Drake was born in a time when Solaris city still floated proudly above the planet, born to one of the many families that once made the world a lot fuller than any of the other time periods Drake has been transported to. Drake was born to a Solarian family that all they knew had been there for a very long time. He grew up in the southern regions of Xhan Tarn with his mother, Isha, and his father, Daniel. His parents were both keepers and their understanding of the energies were match or surpassed by few others. They were drawn together by their love of energy and their want to take their knowledge to another level. Drake was given as normal as a child as could be expected on Solaris until he was about to beginning his training.

During the trip to their training grounds, while camped for the night in a small clearing in the Osperian Forest, Drake’s parents were ambushed by a group of cut throats wanting nothing more to kill everyone to make a few credits. The only thing that the cut throats had going for them were their numbers. After a prolonged battle and several of them dead, Drake watched his parents be cut down. Drake shielded his eyes when they began slowly towards him blood still dripping from their weapons. The screams that broke the silence of the night next were not Drake’s. The red energy with black interlaced lit up the clearing in an eerie glow as the cut throats were being annihilated.

The combatant who saved him was never seen by Drake. He stood over the boy and told him to get anything that he could carry and be ready to leave. Drake was taken to the lair of an old Dragon named Rerek. After a brief silent discussion between the unknown warrior and Rerek, it was agreed that Drake would stay and study ways of combat, honor, and how to survive on Solaris. Drake lived and learned from Rerek until one day when he woke, Rerek was gone and didn’t return.

Before the Flux...
Shortly after registering and being accepted as a member of Solaris City, Drake met Cirin. Cirin was a Guardian that showed him the ropes when he first showed up. He began training and sparring with Drake until they both were rather decent warriors. Nowhere near the power of the master rank and even further from the power of the Elites Cirin came to Drake and offered to fuse with him. They were of like moral standing and had similar thoughts on what purpose they believed they would play.

For a time, Drake was a factor that people couldn’t ignore. Drake protected those that were weaker or being preyed upon. He did this without fear of what would happen to him and things always seemed to work out somehow. He was a founding member of the Mor’Talj, a group of warriors that believed in fighting for the greater good of others. Aaron Frost, Roland Deschain, and Edward Deschain, his apprentice, all played a huge roll in this group. But like all things, Mor’Talj time was limited. Aaron Frost was killed, Roland was killed by Nova, and Edward left for seclusion much like his teacher. Drake pushed on until the second flux trying his best.
Flux to present...
After being shoved 10,000 years into the future Drake felt out of place and unable to grasp control of the situation and so took time to find his purpose. He stayed in what was the Osperian forest with Zidala. By the time he returned the Neolarion’s ship was overhead and chaos was beginning. When the Neolarions attacked, he was unable to do anything more than sit and watch. He was hoping that he wasn’t going to die without a fight. Well, after being transferred back in time, he once again felt out of place. He was no longer the warrior that could help others, but one that had to sit on the side lines and be saved. Angry at himself, he trained feverishly perfecting his use of Chaos and learning ways to be stronger. He did this all alone, secluded from the world; Drake had returned to form and hadn’t been seen since the Neolarions.

Drake is coming out of seclusion for his own reasons. He is a capable warrior that wants to be respected for his abilities and wishes to use them for protection of Solaris. Only time will tell if he will find his place within the ranks of the warriors or disappear into the forest again.
